Residential Property Acquisitions & Research Manager

Our business is growing and we are seeking an experienced Residential Property Acquisitions and Research Manager to join the team.

This is a multi-faceted role with fantastic exposure to the national residential market. Your responsibilities include:

  • Research the residential marketplace on a national level and further develop our research methodology to establish which capital cities are most likely to perform best over the short to medium term
  • Research city suburbs to figure out which are best placed to outperform the wider marketplace
  • Identify the best residential developments in specified suburbs and explore which offer the best opportunities for clients to secure growth
  • Seek out, build and maintain relationships with quality developers around the country who bring the best quality product to the market
  • Lead the organisation, research and production of content for internal and client briefings
  • Collaboration in client meetings
  • Develop high quality research material

About you

You are confident, dependable and a great teammate with fantastic social skills. You’re a great communicator who builds relationships that stick. You’re highly organised and a good planner and time manager.

You’re likely a property owner or investor, and you have a real passion for property. There are a number of backgrounds you could have, including valuations, buyer’s agency, property research, town planning or acquisitions.

You should possess

Relevant degree or post graduate qualifications in business/economics/property economics/development

  • Deep understanding of growth drivers of residential property
  • Minimum 4-7 years relevant industry experience
  • Excellent due diligence and analysis skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experienced with Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Experience with BIS Oxford Economics report, RP Data, Residex, ABS will be an advantage

Head of Investment Finance

Our business is growing and we are seeking an exceptional Residential Investment Property Broking leader to head up our Investment Finance team.

This is a multi-faceted role with fantastic exposure to the national residential market. Your responsibilities include;

  • Lift productivity within the team
  • Establish reporting systems to measure team effectiveness
  • Define and set commission models for existing team members
  • Build a learning and development environment for the Finance team that fosters knowledge sharing and ensures the team are kept up to date on products and the market
  • Work with Leadership on new growth initiatives and innovation opportunities
  • Collaborate with the Head of Marketing to build communication strategies for new and existing clients
  • Coach, develop and lead the team, against performance measures including targets, pipelines, forecasting, goals and performance reviews
  • Reporting on team performance, including variance and any necessary make-good strategies
  • Contribute to problem solving and decision-making with the Leadership team, applying deep industry and market perspective to help facilitate growth across the inSynergy business

About you

You are, first and foremost, highly experienced with finance for property, with an impressive career in credit or brokering. Secondly you are an extraordinary leader of people with great management philosophies and a desire to help your team grow and develop. You are commercially astute and have entrepreneurial flair and a desire to achieve. Finally, you put the customer first and you fervently believe in always doing the right thing.

You’re likely to be a property owner or investor with a genuine passion for property, so you’ll be joining like-minded people.

What you’ll need

  • Relevant degree or post graduate qualifications in business/economics/property economics/development
  • Relevant credit or finance certification (Cert 1/diploma)
  • Deep understanding of mortgage broking for the residential investment property market
  • Minimum 10 years relevant experience
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Good skill levels with industry software tools (ApplyOnline preferred)
